Skip Tyson and his team are AMAZING!! I would never take any of my kids anywhere else…As soon as we entered this office and I met the dentist and his team I knew it was the perfect place for my autistic son. They were warm and friendly and you can tell by their actions and calmness they had dealt with many special needs kids…. All I can say is if you want your kids in the best hands and have the best experience for them, bring them to Skip and his team.
Great office and staff! It was my toddler’s first visit and while he wasn’t a fan at first, he ended up not wanting to leave. Dr. Tyson was so patient and caring. I would definitely recommend this office!
My kids love Wilmington Pediatric Dentistry! They provide excellent patient-centered care and are great at communicating with me about their dental health, potential problems and are up front about costs when extra procedures are needed. Everyone there is super friendly and welcoming and I am happy to say that my boys have zero fear when it comes to the dentist, despite having a few fillings.
I cannot recommend this practice enough! From the moment we walked in, my daughter’s fears were at ease. The awesome playhouse in the waiting room was so amazing I wish every doctor’s office had this. The staff was SO caring and supportive and just amazing. This was my daughter’s first visit to the dentist and I thought we would for sure be leaving in tears but we left in smiles with prizes in hand instead. Love this practice and thank you for all that you do to support our babies! 10/10 recommend.

These doctors are beyond amazing! I used to come here when I was little and now my babies are coming here…These doctors, dental staff, and front desk staff have been beyond anything I could have ever asked for 23 years and counting…I can actually promise that they will never recommend anything that “needs to be done” for money they only want the best for your child and will most definitely work with you through any money issues if you have any. So beyond happy with this place! My kids even beg to come to the dentist just to come! Even after getting 2 cavities fixed! Now that says a lot!

I can’t imagine a better experience for kids at a dentist’s office. Not only are the dentists themselves exceptional providers, but the whole team makes sure that kids have a positive experience, leading to kids that LOVE to go to the dentist. I highly recommend Wilmington Pediatric Dentistry!
The care is always fun and fast. The kids never complain about going to the dentist! In fact, my daughter is always excited to go!
My 4 year old loved it here. The practice is very intentionally built for kids; Prize boxes, a playhouse in the waiting room, even video games for older ones. We’ll be back.

“The best Pediatric Dentist office there is!!”
The best Pediatric Dentist office there is!! My kids were scared to go to the dentist and from the first time they stepped foot in the door their fears disappeared. Now they beg to go and go to the back all by themselves. Dr. Skip had to pull two of my son’s teeth and when he asked when they were going to do it. They said they already had. He don’t even feel it. It also helps that they have games for the kids to play and we can’t forget the treasure box. Highly recommend this awesome place!

Dr. Skip and his dental assistant are so kind and so patient. They are truly meant to work in pediatric dentistry. Looking in the mouths of 2 year olds who want nothing to do with it is not for the weak. They gave my twins time to settle in, play with the equipment, brush the dragons teeth and talked them through the whole visit. They are amazing! Highly, highly recommend!”

Dr. Skip, Dr. Steph, and Dr. Katie take great care of my kids’ teeth. Everyone in the office is friendly and approachable. My kids LOVE going to the dentist!!
Dr. Katie helped us on the weekend after our son injured his tooth. She went out of her way to give advice and even spoke with the ER doctor to walk him through how to properly check his tooth out. Highly recommended!
